Chris Bolint
Electric, Acoustic Guitars and Ukulele
Chris Bolint is a professional musician who has been playing guitar for over 25 years. He has attended both Indiana University and Berklee College of Music for the study of music. He enjoys introducing the joy of playing guitar to new students and nurturing an enthusiasm, while teaching fundamental principles of playing the instrument and music in general. Chris has a background in other instruments such as Cello and also teaches Bass guitar and Ukulele. He writes and records his own music and in 2015 released his own original solo instrumental guitar album entitled, “Embers Alive”, which won both American and USA Songwriting Awards and was featured by Guitar World Magazine. His songs have been played on the radio all over the country and he has had the privilege of opening for guitar greats such as, Paul Gilber, Greg Howe, and Michael Angelo Batio.
While he’s not teaching or writing he plays nearly every week around the area as a solo acoustic act with his acoustic duo, Deuces Wild, and with full eletric cover band, Zodiac. While he certainly enjoys performing and creating music, he cherishes his role as a teacher and strives to enhance every students playing abilities to their maximum potential.
