BRIANNA RHOMBERG
This week it gives the Music of Oz great pleasure to present our next featured student, Brianna Rhomberg—violinist. Brianna is an eighteen-years-old Senior at Lake Central High School where she is a top honor’s student and is active in the school’s music program playing in the advanced Hand Bell Choir.
Brianna has been playing violin since she was ten and is currently a student of Jennifer Redlarczyk at the studio. Her dedication and determination has paid off since she has been playing with the Youth Orchestra of the Indiana Northwest Symphony for the past two years. This is quite an accomplishment since Lake Central does not have a string program.
Brianna has been accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at Valpariso University where she will attend school in the fall. Although she will not be music major, she intends to continue on with her violin and will either play in the University Orchestra or maintain her spot with the Youth Orchestra.
According to Jennifer Redlarczyk, Brianna is very talented and enjoys a challenge. She is always cheerful at her lessons, and because she practices is a pleasure to teach. For those of you who are planning to attend our studio recital on May 2nd, you will be in for a treat. At that time Brianna will be playing La Fille Aux Cheveux De Lin by Claude Debussy.
We wish Brianna much success as she finished off her academic year and goes on to begin an exciting career in the medical field. It has been our privilege to teach such a talented young woman here at the studio, and we are very proud of her achievements. Good job! ~ Mrs. Red and the Music of Oz Staff ♫
